The sample of EdgePMU device was installed in field in one selected low voltage transformer station which is part of the Elektro Gorenjska maintained electric power grid. The test device (i.e. EdgePMU is connected in parallel to existing measuring PMU and other devices to compare its accuracy in measurements. Although the main idea was to use 5G communication - which is established, enabled, tested and ready - in order to transmit data in real time to the cloud, this feature due to the technical problems (samples not being ready to this level) is/was not enabled. This means that the data is stored at the device itself and manually transmitted to the server for analysis. With that one of the main features of the project failed - on the other hand from the Proof of Concept point of view, we managed to determine that the concept is valid, but the device itself need more development and improvement.
